In order to complete your account application, we require that you provide some supporting documentation such as a Proof of Identify and a Proof of Residence.
The documents needed vary depending on your Country of Residence. We therefore display your countries requirements, and the best documents for you to provide, in the online application process. This way you know exactly what is required from you personally, and we can have your account approved in a very short period of time.
The quickest way to provide your documents to us is to scan them or take a picture using a digital camera, attach them to an e-mail and send them to contracts@saxobank.com. Use your full name as the e-mail subject title. Alternatively, you can take photocopies of them and send them to us by fax or post making sure that your full name is on each copy. We can not guarantee the safe return of original documents sent by post and would ask that you send copies only.
Each scanner has different operating instructions. Either refer to the manufacturers instructions or visit their web site to find out how to scan pictures and load them onto your computer. Once you are familiar with scanning pictures, place the document in your scanner. Scan the document and check that the text on the image is readable. Make a note of the folder on your PC that the document is stored in. That makes it easier to retrive them when you have to attach them to the e-mail.
Each mobile phone camera and digital camera has different operating instructions. Either refer to the manufacturers' instructions or visit their web site to find out how to take pictures and load them onto your computer. Once you are familiar with taking pictures using your camera or mobile phone camera, place the document on a plain background like a sheet of white paper. Ensure the whole document is visible in the camera viewfinder, take the picture, load the picture onto your computer and check that the text on the image is readable. Make a note of the folder on your PC that the document is stored in. That makes it easier to retrive them when you have to attach them to the e-mail.

If you wish to submit your documents by fax, please include a coverpage with your full name and the number of pages you are submitting to us and fax it to: +45 39 77 40 07
