Saxo Bank’s offers two types of API solutions to meet our clients’ needs:
API Direct Client
API Direct Client is typically a Retail Broker or a company who has developed its own automated trading application and wishes to utilize Saxo Bank’s liquidity. Using Saxo’s API setup the client is able to receive live tradable quotes & streaming tradable liquidity and to transmit orders and trades directly into their Saxo Bank account. The Client can manage one or multiple client relationships and accounts on their side.
API Facilitator Client
For specialised Retail Brokers, Asset Managers and other Financial institutions that offer trading services capabilities to retail clients Saxo Bank can offer them liquidity via a Facilitator Setup. These clients can then route trading flow coming from either Saxo clients (in a Saxo Facilitator Setup) or non-Saxo clients (in a non-Saxo Facilitator setup) using their trading services. A Facilitator is in most cases a licensed IB or WLC of Saxo Bank.
